With a background that encompasses all aspects of the fashion industry, over the past twenty three years. Nicholas has worked with an impressive array of talents. Including the likes of John Galliano, Joseph Etedgui and Donna Karan, as well as some of the world’s most renowned jewellery designers Francesca Amfitheatrof (Creative Director of Tiffany & Co in New York) and Alexis Bittar - gaining an insight and knowledge of the luxury business of fashion and jewellery. 

Over the years each job gave him an insight into the many aspects of the global fashion industry. What it takes to run a fashion business - how to source and develop product – within both global and small businesses - How to promote and grow your sales market - buying that makes both financial and creative sense. All of the experience led him to launch his own creative business, Nicholas King. At the very same time he launched his own consultancy business and continue his work with all sizes of business.  

In founding his eponymous brand Nicholas King, his jewellery went on to be sold in over sixty five stores worldwide - including Bergdorf Goodman, Liberty, Harrods, Amazon and Club 21 in Bangkok. Along with profiles and fashion features in some of the world's leading publications, from Vogue, Style.com, Elle and Harpers Bazaar. In 2009 Nicholas was nominated for Rising Star at the Global Fashion Awards in New York followed by a nomination in 2014 for Jewellery Designer of the year at the UK Jewellery Awards. In 2013 Nicholas was named as one of the UK's Hot 100 jewellers by leaders of the industry.   

2015 saw the launch of his collaboration with online retailer Glasses Direct, where he designed a sell-out range of optical glasses and sunglasses. All profits were donated to aid the work done by the eye health charity – Orbis.

In the past two years Nicholas has focused on his consultancy business. Working with a wide range of clients, from Australia to Los Angeles.
